My brain is filled with spider webs
Morbid thoughts flying into them
Echoing ribbits of slimy frogs
Heard along the Dragon’s Den
Those who try to face the beast
Remain forever lost in time
For It, they are just free feast
For It, human blood tastes like wine
For each breath It takes, one soul is lost as it is inhaled
And then exhaled into abyss
The odorless entity smells of rot when it is burned
As it receives its Deadly Kiss
Humans fear what they don’t know
They deny its mere existence
Rather having ignorance
When knowledge has a strange appearance
This mythic creature’s hunting preys
Are fear and greed and pride
And they’re so easy to seduce
They simply take its side
As long as it’s all good for them
They’ll sleep very well at night
But once they get out of the cave
They’ll be overwhelmed by fright.
